The grapes are sourced from Los Chacayes, a subregion in the Uco Valley that produces wines with big tannins and great structure. This wine is not the exception and opens with smoky meaty aromas followed by plums. Nice acidity and a chalky texture holds a palate of concentrated black fruit and tobacco flavors accented by a light note of peppercorn. It's hard to have a sip of this wine and not imagine a plate of grilled beef or asado, Argentinian BBQ.
