Hermann Wiemer moved to New York from Germany's Mosel region in 1968. This Finger Lakes Riesling, made in the traditional German Spätlese style, clearly shows his roots. Notes of baked apples and tangerine fill the palate.
This wine shows rich tropical fruit notes of ripe mango, pineapple and papaya while the lime like zestiness balances out the touch of sweetness. A perfect pairing with Pad Thai and chicken satay, while the balanced sweetness can handle spicier southeast Asian dishes.
