It's 93% Cabernet Sauvignon from prime sites on the valley floor and also from Howell Mountain. Add in 7% Cabernet Franc from a name you'd certainly know on Prichard Hill and 15 months in 35% new French oak casks and something special is ready to land in your glass. With excellent lushness and depth to the dark blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherry fruit and plenty of spice and dusty chocolate as well, it’s inviting to sip solo now, built to stand up to rich meats, and will improve for at least a decade. Truly outstanding value.
