Bedrock Vineyard is a meticulously farmed piece of Sonoma history. Nurtured by Morgan Twain-Peterson and Diane Kenworthy, it grows some of the most expressive, beautiful fruit that doesn’t need to get super ripe to shine.
Made by young husband & wife winemaking team of James (American) & Lorenza (Italian) Allen, who worked together at Failla & Two Shepherds (some of our favorite CA wineries), this Merlot is just the kind of wine that convert the haters: with rich black forest fruits, kirsch and pepper on the nose. Lush and velvety on the palate, balanced by a good dose of acid and a dusting of dried tobacco, chocolate, and espresso on the finish. Only 4 barrels made.
