This unique winery, in the foothills of the Andes, is owned by Felipe Uribe, a well-known wine consultant in Chile who takes advantage of the altitude to make ripe but fresh wines from local and international grape varieties. The Cota 500 Chardonnay comes from the Maule Valley. It is fermented gently with native yeasts and ages in French oak barrels for 5 months. This is a great Chardonnay for anyone who thinks that it can’t be full bodied and fresh at the same time!
