Zibibbo is also know as Muscat of Alexandria and is typically used to make dessert wines. This wine, however, is made in a dry style. Light green/gold in color, clear and bright. The nose starts off with big lime notes. With air, more lemon/lime and then some peach notes come out. There is also some minerality and salinity. Medium bodied. Slight oily texture. Good acidity. Overall, this is an excellent white wine that is both tasty and interesting. It drinks well on its own and would be great with grilled shellfish or other seafood.
