Refined and complex, with intense fruit notes, the nose reveals wild strawberry, cherry and blackcurrant aromas mingled with delicate notes of vanilla. Excellent attack on the palate with a concentration and balanced acidity, on silky and refined tannins. Deep, ripe but fresh on the nose with sweet blackcurrants, blackberries, some dark mint chocolate, fresh figs and a touch of cigar box. Melted, silky tannins on the flavorful, full-bodied palate give it some nice polish. Aged 12 months in oak barrels, of which 30% is new. Drink or hold.
