A 2006 Colheita portwine with a bouquet of predominant aromas of vanilla and coffee. The taste is complex, elegant and fine. Elegant and persistent finish
Colheita's are seen as Tawny's of very high quality. Comes from a single harvest and has spent at least 7 years in French oak barrels of approximately 550 liters. Colheita port wine represents less than 1% of the total annual production of port. Like Vintage, a Colheita port is only released when the best conditions are met and after approval of the IDVP (Instituto dos Vinhos do Douro e do Porto)
