Vosne-Romanée is just sexy wines, which is one reason why it is the most expensive village in Burgundy.
Desaunay-Bissey makes really nice, classic and very terroir-accurate Burgundy at very reasonable prices. Bruno hand-harvests the grapes, of course, and allows the grapes to cold macerate for a few days before the wines are fermented with moderate extraction and then aged for 14-16 months in small oak barrels with a relatively small proportion of new barrels.
