Chateau Suduiraut - Lions de Suduirat 2015 (375ml)
Château Suduiraut’s second label, Lions de Suduiraut has been specifically designed to reveal the pleasures of tasting Sauternes wines.
With a specific blending style made of 94% Semillon and 6% Sauvignon blanc, it gives a unique personality to the wine. Lions aged in only 10% new oak, and 90% 2nd use. The harvest took place over a series of five selective pickings. 2015 was a terrific vintage and the wine displeys both botytis and raisined notes.
Smooth, subtle, fresh and mineral, with a creative profile, Lions de Suduiraut is modern and pleasant to taste young.
Lions de Suduiraut 2o15 offers an intense nose of candied fruits, in particular apricot and melon, with hints of smokiness and minerals. Then, notes of vanilla and passion fruit emerge. The attack is round and fresh. The 2015 vintage brings a little more generosity to the lively character and fruit of this cuvée. A delicacy to be enjoyed now.
