The 2018 Tour Sieujean is a lesser-known Pauillac that I have followed closely for several years, since it can sometimes overperform, as it has in this vintage. It has a bright bouquet of blackberry and raspberry fruit laced with cedar and mint, showing good delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and beautifully integrated oak, and harmonious and elegant on the finish. If you want to spend money on an expensive Pauillac, please do. If you don t, you know where to come.
