Packaged with a black label, the organic and biodynamic 2017 Brunello di Montalcino Corte Pavone is lush and rich, but it also shows balance. The wine starts off with sweet fruit tones and lots of black cherry with spice, tar and cedarwood. There is a general softness or integration to these flavors that gives this bottle the upper edge in a challenging vintage. Drink 2024-2038.
Wine Tasting Notes
Corte Pavone Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is bright ruby red, in the nose aromas of eucalyptus, liquorice, raspberry and black pepper. Well integrated tannins with a nice acidity. A Brunello with tremendous juiciness. The allrounder with durability!
