Made as an hommage to Catena's founder Domingo Vicente, this dry red blend seeks to recreate his famous red wine. Malbec, with Bonarda and Petit Verdot from both old and young vines, this is a dark-fruited medium-bodied red.

The 2022 Red Blend DV Catena Tinto Histórico consists of 77% Malbec, 20% Bonarda and 3% Petit Verdot sourced from the Uco Valley and Luján de Cuyo. Aged for up to 14 months in French oak barrels, both new and used, this purple-red wine reveals plum, menthol, blueberry and white pepper aromas. Dry and rich, the creamy and juicy palate leads to a supple and velvety mouthfeel. It finishes with an enticing hint of expectorant.
