"Roncevie" is a lieu-dit (vineyard) in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin. In 1964, when the Gevrey appellation was reduced in size, the Arlaud family's parcel was declassified to Bourgogne Rouge simply because the family was from Morey and not Gevrey.

One barrel made. A little lighter in colour, a pink tinge to the crimson. The fruit comes across as a bit more raw after Ruchots. Definitely a sharper feel at the finish. Cherry notes throughout and again the length is there. Drink from 2026-2031.
