Les Caillets is a tribute to David and Benjamin's great-grandfather, Frédérick Caillet, who purchased the original domaine in 1928. The Viognier vines are over 20 year old, all fruit is hand-harvested and fully de-stemmed before fermentation and aging in a mix of oak barrels and tank. Intense gold in color with intense aromas of apricot, honey and nuts. On the palate, the wine is vibrant and refreshing with a full, round mouthfeel. There is a wonderful concentration to the intense fruit flavors the lead into a long and decadent finish.
