A fuller-bodied wine with aromatic complexity and greater concentration on the palate, resulting in more pronounced tannins. It will accompany dishes with sauces and mature cheeses. Can be kept for up to 10 years.
100% Pinot Noir from the Robardelle vineyard (close to Meursault, just in front of Les Santenots Dessous) which is part 1er Cru, part village level. The Huber-Verdereau vines were planted in 1949 by Thiebault’s grandfather, Raoul Verdereau, using sélection massale. They are on the village side, which has limestone soil rather than clay, and they produce small bunches.
Aromas of cherry. Full-bodied palate with fresh with red fruit flavors. Well-integrated tannins.
