Situated above the premier cru Les Marconnets, Clos du Dessus des Marconnets Chardonnay parcels are on the lower part of the slope near the boundary of Savigny Les Beaune. Most of the area is negociant-owned but as with all of Labet's wines, these are estate-owned. The wine shows the richness of Meursault and the stony-mineral character of Pernard-Vergelesses.
A medium gold color. Fresh citrus and ripe yellow fruit and stone aromas. This is richly flavored and vibrant showing fresh pear, good structure and stony mineral notes.
