Very good concentration and depth. Crisp acidity to balance the fleshy fruit character. No shortage of interest and has the ability to age several years. Jean-François Bordet's domaine (with roots dating back to 1590) is based north of Chablis in Maligny.
Cooler and very pretty aromas are comprised by notes of green apple, oyster shell and quinine. There is a similar palate impression to the Bourgogne with its rich and generously proportioned mouthfeel before terminating in an equally clean, dry and sneaky long finale that enjoys better acid support.
