"The translucent ruby-hued 2021 Gigondas has a beautiful perfume of wild strawberries, sappy green herbs, flowers, and spice to go with a medium-bodied, elegant, lightly textured style on the palate. It's not massive, and I don't think it's going to make terribly old bones, but I love its purity as well as its sense of elegance. The blend is 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, and the rest Syrah."
