The Maître family owns this estate and has produced Champagne there since 1860. The vineyard is located in the southernmost part of Champagne, in the heart of the Côte des Bar, on the slopes of the Ource and Seine valleys. The typicity of this terroir rests essentially on its perfect adequacy with the culture of Pinot noir (representing more than 80% of the exploited surface), which flourishes and ripens very well on these hillsides of the Jurassic.
This blanc de noir is a brut 100% Pinot noir, its robe is light yellow and brilliant, enhanced by very fine bubbles. The nose offers a clean and complex aromatic bouquet, very fruity. On the palate, there is a lot of freshness, aromas of red fruits and white flowers as well as a brioche finish.
