Reserve Petite Sirah from Suisun Vineyards of California's North Coast AVA. This wine was aged in about 20% new French oak for a total of 20 months. The resulting wine is dark and rich, with blueberry and blackberry fruit over hints of oak and black pepper. Surprisingly versatile, it pairs well with red meats, rich pasta dishes, and even desserts such as a dense, dark chocolate cake.
