Radiant and concentrated, it shows notes of red plums, lemon peel, withered yellow flowers and lots of orange juice. Medium-full body, juicy and enveloping in the sip, it shows soft and well polymerized tannins and a finish of medium astringency that will need time to relax.
Francesco Borgogno makes wine produced exclusively from grapes coming from their own vineyards that lie in one of the best positions of La Morra: “cru” Brunate. The emotional attachment to this land and to these vineyards has been handed down from father to son. Today, Francesco Borgogno’s sons, Giancarlo and Claudio, direct the winery, flanked by Claudio’s wife Silvia.
