"Orange wine" is a style of white wine where the grape skins and seeds remain in contact with the juice during maceration. It’s a similar process that produces red wines.
This delicious wine from Slovenia (literally driving distance to Friuli Italy) is done with maceration and has aromas of freshly cut grass, lemon grass and white peach. It is clean and bright in the mouth with flavors of peach, apple, pear and apricot.
