Il Fitto - Syrah Cortona 2016 (750ml)
Il Fitto Cortona Syrah is juicy and quaffable but not without nuance. Black peppercorn, balck olive, and ripe plumb make up the backbone of this delicious little gem. Ample tannins, but in no way abrasive. Beneath the fruit is a charming spectrum of non-fruit complexity: leather, spice, dry dusty earth, and wood smoke. All the hallmarks of authentic Old World Syrah but still so loyal to true Tuscan swag. An anomaly. And built for charcuterie.
