The vineyard of Chateau d’Arsac is planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. 4 hectares of vines are used for Sauvignon Blanc. In total, Chateau d’Arsac has 112 hectares under vine. But as of 1995, 54 hectares of their vines became classified as being part of the Margaux appellation.
Kid d'Arsac is the new second wine of the estate, beginning with the 2018 vintage. A worthy successor to its elder, it starts out round and full-bodied on the palate with elegant, smooth tannins. Its deep red color paves the way for a delicate nose of red fruits, rose petals and sweet earth. Balanced and flavorful on the palate, the 2018 Le Kid is made of 72% Cabernet Sauvignon and 28% Merlot.
