La robe is a pale golden yellow. The nose is still young and fresh, but powerful and imposing. A note of reduction disappears on aeration to give way to citrus aromas accompanied by toasted, sesame and match notes.
On the palate, the texture is unctuous and fat, but so fresh and balanced with a lively acidity that dominates the mouth. Rich oak-derived notes mingle happily with crisp orchard fruit, hints of lemon and pear, fennel and white pepper. A fine chalky, stony minerality coats the tongue and prolongs the pleasure in a long, generous finish. An incredibly refined, complex wine, an invigorating, saline sea breeze.
