The Seleccion Reserva is a more modern style Rioja compared to their Gran Reserva. It is more fruit forward with good balance, structure, and depth. The tannins are refined. On the palate there are a multitude of flavors some such as blackberry, cherry, plum, currant, mocha flavors, a subtle licorice nuance, light oak/vanilla notes and typical mineral and baking spice hints.
