Silvia Zucchi is the third and current generation of a family with a long history of winemaking in the Sorbara zone of Lambrusco. The winery is located north of Modena along the banks of the Secchia and Panaro rivers;. her family founded the winery here in the 1950s and have been making Lambrusco ever since. After having graduated with a degree in wine making, Silvia returned home to the family business; after her tenth harvest working with her family, she decided to form her own brand, Silvia Zucchi. Her rosato Lambrusco is made using only first-run juice and undergoes a long slow fermentation of 4-6 weeks; with aromas and flavors of watermelon and thyme, it s a dry, herbal sparkling rosé that’s versatile with food, yet refreshing enough to enjoy on its own.
