Plenty of plummy fruit, with a rewarding richness and density that lingers invitingly on the palate - definitely over-performing at the regional level. This delicious wine is produced from a blend of grapes from Nuits-St-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. The grapes were fermented slowly over three weeks with 20% whole clusters before ageing for 15 months in cask (25% new).
Burghound
Earthy and sauvage-suffused aromas include those of dark currant and soft wood nuances. The racy, bright, sleek and nicely precise flavors also conclude in a mildly rustic but delicious and lingering finale. This is really quite pretty and a wine that should drink well young. *Burghound Outstanding!*
