This classic estate was purchased in 1986 by Algerian businessman Philippe Raoux, and he brought the estate back to its former glory. Their Le Kid d'Arsac is their entry-level wine, but it offers up a ton of class and sophistication at a modest price.
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, it is medium to full bodied, quite elegant and refined, and it's about the cheapest way to get good Margaux in your glass. Offering up lovely notes of red and black currant, tobacco, graphite, and spice box, it's a classic Bordeaux. Highly recommended!
