A gorgeous red Burgundy you can enjoy with abandon immediately. This comes from 50 year old vines planted on clay and chalk soils. The grapes were pressed and fermented naturally in cement tanks. Aged for a year in oak barrels (15% new). Wife and Husband team Nathalie and Herve’ Petitot are third generation wine makers who take great pride in producing wine that is indicative of the terroir and spirit of Burgundy, specifically in this case the Les Poisets Vineyard of Nuits-Saint-Georges. Elegantly restrained, the Les Poiset has a velvety mouthfeel, cherry and black currant aromas and flavors, and a pleasant, clean mineral finish.
