Leitz Out - Rheingau Riesling in a Can NV (4 pack 250ml cans)
Canned wine can be.., rough to say the least. I often find that they have an oxidized or "Cooked" taste to them, so when I find a canned wine that is not only drinkable but enjoyable I consume it by the case. Leiz has done a tremendous job with this wine, I actually felt guilty drinking it out of the can because it has expressive aromatics that open up nicely in a glass. This wine jumps out at you with florality, stoney minerality, and fresh green apple notes. On the palate it is mostly dry and refreshing with a touch of fruitiness. Drink this wine either on the beach in the middle of a triple digit day, or while being lazy with salt and vinegar potato chips.
