The 2023 Songs Of Its Own checks in as equal parts Grenache and Mourvèdre sourced all from the Glenrose Vineyard in Paso Robles and raised 14 months in neutral barrels. Its semi-opaque ruby hue is followed by a medium-bodied, incredibly perfumed red revealing both red and black fruit as well as some classic Mourvèdre spicy, meaty, and savory herb and pepper aromatics. It's balanced, has ripe, integrated tannins, and a great finish. This is stunning Paso Robles goodness that brings intensity and richness while staying light on its feet and oh, so drinkable.
