This small (some 60 acres) estate is located in the southern part of the Touraine, on the left bank of the Cher River, partially in the Touraine appellation and partially in the newly created one of Touraine-Chenonceaux. Very much a family affair, it was started by Bruno Denis and his wife Patricia, with Bruno in charge of the vineyards and his wife making the wine. Control has been passed to the next generation, with daughter Charlotte now making the wine. Her white is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon; ample and complex, it is intensely aromatic, with notes of ripe pears, apricots, and citrus.
