Delicious red fruit and floral aromas jump out of the glass of this fresher style of Aglianico. While there are still classic structured tannins you'd expect, there is also a beautiful purity to the fruit that works very well at the table.
Stunning aromas filled with wild blackberry, spice and hints of violets enliven the senses every time I sniff the glass. Giving ripe fruit but dry ( completely vinnified.) The talented family that makes this wine came down from Tuscany for a better way of life and has been taking advantage of the high quality, mineral driven soil at the base of the extinct Vulture Volcano. This ancient variety of Aglianico has traveled from Greece 2,00 years ago and still makes wines of class and distinction.
